The Hit Drama Announced for Seventh Series on BBC
The acclaimed crime series Line of Duty will make a comeback for its 7th installment, confirmed by the BBC.
An upcoming six-part series created by Jed Mercurio starts production in Northern Ireland this spring, as confirmed by the production team.
The actress shared her enthusiasm about the comeback, saying she was "so excited" about the show's renewal. Adrian Dunbar added, "How wonderful it is to know that the Three Amigos will be back filming together next year."
The last series wrapped up in recent years with a final episode that drew in over 17 million viewers. Rumors about a potential return have been widespread for some time, but confirmation only arrived recently.

Series seven begins with AC-12 having been disbanded and rebranded as the Inspectorate of Police Standards, as revealed by the announcement.
Steve Arnott, Vicky McClure's role, and Adrian Dunbar's part continue tasked to tackle misconduct within the law enforcement.
The team's mission "faces unprecedented challenges", and in this climate, the trio will take on their "most delicate case to date."
Fresh Face and Intricate Plot
A new character, Det Insp Dominic Gough, portrayed as a charismatic officer celebrated for busts of organized crime, is accused of misusing his authority to become a sexual predator.

The conclusion of series six drew the extended plot about the search for criminal mastermind known as "H" to a conclusion, and the creative team indicated at the time there were no plans for additional seasons.
However, the corporation announced on Tuesday that a seventh series is now being produced.
